This is a clip from the movie Straight Refugees, directed by Ian White. It tells the stories of deportees from America and what hardships they encounter once they reach Cambodia, a country many were too young to remember when they fled the Khmer Rouge. Shown here again is KK, who tells his own story from childhood to his work with Tiny Toones.
I'm also posting a trailer of the documentary Sentenced Home, shown on PBS. It follows three Cambodian immigrants who are being sent back years after their criminal offenses and explores all sides of the deportation issue.
